Manufacturers Consortium explores workforce tools

Columbia County's Manufacturer's Consortium met in July to exchange best practices related to the recruitment, development and retention of skilled employees. This meeting was hosted by Pacific Stainless Products, a specialty metal manufacturer in St. Helens. Following a plant tour, consortium members discussed specific employee recruitment and training resources that are available to all Columbia County businesses.
